Kim Diaz, DNP, APRN
Kim began her nursing career in 2011 at NCH’s Cardiothoracic Unit, where she worked as a floor nurse and charge nurse. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Florida and has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2016. Passionate about patient care, Kim co-founded Essence of Health to offer high-quality, individualized healthcare. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, cat, and dog, as well as reading.
Sasha Takala, APRN
A Naples native, Sasha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011. She worked at NCH as a cardiothoracic nurse for four years before becoming an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the University of Florida in 2015. Since graduation she has been with Naples Heart Rhythm Specialists and is also now co-founder of Essence of Health. She specializes in both medical and aesthetic care. Sasha is certified in neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. When not in the office, she enjoys time at the beach with her husband and three children.
Amanda Cruz, Esthetician
Amanda, originally from Miami, has proudly called Naples home since 2020. A 2025 graduate of the Skin Care Academy of Florida, she is a licensed esthetician whose passion for beauty and skincare has been lifelong. At Essence of Health, Amanda serves as both esthetician and clinic coordinator, blending clinical excellence with a luxury patient experience. She is dedicated to delivering personalized, results-driven treatments while ensuring every detail of the patient journey feels seamless, elevated, and welcoming. From the first appointment to ongoing care, she believes true beauty begins with feeling genuinely cared for. Outside of the clinic, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
